30-60-90 day plan for a new role

Create a credible plan for your first three months that balances learning, relationships and early wins.

Change note: Initial version

Prompt

Create a 30-60-90 day plan for me. It will be used either for an interview or for my first three months on the job: {{use}}.

Role: {{role}} at a {{company}}
My manager or team context: {{team_context}}
Known priorities, problems or goals of the team: {{priorities}}
My relevant strengths: {{strengths}}

Structure the plan as:
- Days 1-30 (learn): people to meet, systems and data to understand, questions to ask, one small quick win.
- Days 31-60 (contribute): first owned project, how I will earn trust, how I will measure progress.
- Days 61-90 (lead): a larger initiative, process improvements, what I will report to my manager.
For each phase give goals, 4 to 6 concrete actions, and how success will be visible.

Also include:
- A list of 8 questions I should ask in my first two weeks.
- Risks in the first 90 days and how to handle them.
- A one-paragraph version I can say aloud in an interview in under 60 seconds.

Be realistic about what one person can do in 90 days. Do not promise results I cannot control. Where the plan depends on facts I did not provide, mark the assumption.

Example output

**Days 1-30: Learn**
Goals: understand current wait-time drivers; earn trust.
Actions: shadow front-desk teams at each of the five clinics; meet the COO weekly; pull three months of scheduling data; list the top five delays; fix one small thing, such as a confusing intake form.
Success: a one-page summary of causes, validated by clinic leads.

**Days 31-60: Contribute**
Goals: pilot one scheduling change.
Actions: choose one clinic; map the booking workflow; test a standard slot length for two weeks; track average wait.
Success: pilot wait time versus baseline.

**Days 61-90: Lead**
Goals: plan rollout to the other four clinics; present results to leadership.

**Questions for weeks 1-2**
What does a good outcome look like at six months? Which past changes failed, and why?

**60-second version**
"In my first month I'd listen and map the waits; in month two I'd pilot a fix at one clinic; by month three I'd have evidence and a rollout plan."

Notes

Anchoring each phase to a visible success measure keeps the plan from being a wish list. The 60-second summary is meant for interviews, where hiring managers mainly want to see structure.
