Example output
**Full script (about 75 seconds)** "I'm a UX researcher who helps product teams understand why people struggle and what to fix first. At my current startup I run usability studies on a banking app; last year I interviewed 30 users about onboarding, and the redesign that followed raised completion by 18%. I started in psychology and spent four years in market research, which taught me to ask neutral questions and handle messy data. Moving into UX let me see research turn into actual product changes. Now I want that work to matter in healthcare, where clear design affects whether someone completes a task that matters to their wellbeing. That's why this role excites me." **Networking version** "I'm a UX researcher with a background in psychology and market research, now looking to bring that into healthcare software." **First-sentence variations** 1. "I help teams figure out why users get stuck." 2. "I'm a researcher who likes turning interviews into design decisions." **Delivery**: pause after the 18% result; emphasize "affect".
Notes
Giving a past that builds toward the target role stops the answer from becoming a résumé recital. Read it aloud and trim any sentence you stumble over.
