Home cleaning schedule that fits your life

Create a realistic daily, weekly and seasonal cleaning routine for your home, household and available time.

Change note: Initial version

Prompt

Create a cleaning and home-maintenance schedule that suits my household.

My home and life:
- Home type and rooms: {{home}}
- Who lives here: {{household}}
- Time I can spend on cleaning per day: {{minutes}} minutes
- Cleaning days I prefer: {{days}}
- The jobs I hate most or struggle to keep up with: {{struggles}}
- Special factors (pets, allergies, kids, hard floors, rental rules): {{factors}}

Build:
1. A daily 10-15 minute reset routine of the few tasks that make the biggest visible difference.
2. A weekly schedule laid out by day, with specific tasks per day, never exceeding my time budget. Spread heavier jobs out and assign tasks to people in the household where it makes sense.
3. A monthly list and a seasonal or quarterly list, including often-forgotten tasks such as vents, mattress, oven, and fridge.
4. A "30-minute emergency clean" order of operations for unexpected guests.
5. Simple supply and product guidance: the short list of cleaners and tools needed, with a warning not to mix bleach with ammonia or other chemicals and to follow the label directions.

Format: a weekly table, then bulleted lists. Keep tasks specific, like "wipe bathroom counters and mirror", and not "clean bathroom". Keep it lighter if my time budget is small, and say what can wait.

Example output

**Daily reset (12 min):** dishes and counters, quick floor sweep of the kitchen, 5-minute tidy of the living room, load laundry if the hamper is full.

**Weekly schedule (25 min on weekdays)**
| Day | Tasks |
|---|---|
| Mon | Vacuum dog hair in the living room; wipe the kitchen stove |
| Tue | Bathroom: toilet, sink and mirror |
| Wed | Wash and fold one load of laundry |
| Thu | Mop kitchen and hallway |
| Fri | Change the bed linens; empty bins |
| Sat (60 min) | Shower, floors throughout, dust, and dog bedding |
| Sun | Off |

**Monthly:** wipe baseboards, clean the fridge shelves, wash the dog's bed cover.
**Quarterly:** vacuum vents, flip the mattress, clean the oven, check smoke alarm batteries before inspections.

**30-minute emergency clean:** clear clutter into a basket, bathroom, kitchen counters, floors, quick lamp-lit ambience.

**Supplies:** all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, a vacuum with pet attachment. Never mix bleach with ammonia or other cleaners.

Notes

Capping tasks to your real minutes per day is why people actually follow it. Mention rental inspection dates so the schedule can front-load what the landlord will notice.
