Weekly planning and reset

Sort the week ahead and reset your home and head: a realistic plan from your tasks, commitments and energy.

Change note: Initial version

Prompt

Act as a practical personal organizer and help me plan the coming week.

Here is what is going on:
- Fixed commitments (work hours, appointments, school runs, events): {{commitments}}
- Tasks and errands floating around in my head: {{tasks}}
- My top priorities this week: {{priorities}}
- My energy pattern (best and worst times of day, any tough days): {{energy}}
- Household or family responsibilities: {{household}}
- Things I want to make time for (rest, exercise, friends, hobbies): {{personal}}

Build my week:
1. Sort the tasks into: must do this week, nice to do, delegate or drop, and next week. Explain any that you moved and why, briefly.
2. Choose my top three outcomes for the week and one small "win" for each day.
3. Create a day-by-day plan in a table with time blocks that respect my fixed commitments and energy pattern. Place demanding work in high-energy times and leave buffer blocks (at least 20% of the open time) for things that overrun.
4. Flag overcommitment honestly: if the plan does not fit, tell me which items to cut or push.
5. Give me a 10-minute Sunday reset routine and a 5-minute end-of-day shutdown routine.

Be realistic rather than optimistic, and keep it to one page. If something is ambiguous (a deadline or duration), state your assumption in brackets instead of asking.

Example output

**Sorted**
- Must do: expense report, call plumber, car registration, grocery shop, Mom's card (to mail by Wed).
- Nice to do: start taxes folder, return the package.
- Drop or delegate: laundry can run in the background Sunday and Thursday.

**Top 3 outcomes:** expense report submitted, plumber booked, registration renewed.

| Day | Plan |
|---|---|
| Mon | 8:30 expense report (win: submitted), run at 6 pm |
| Tue | Call plumber at 8:30, dentist 4 pm, buffer |
| Wed | Mail the card, registration online at lunch, pickup 3:15 |
| Thu | Light: grocery order online, quiet evening |
| Fri | Pickup 3:15, return package, short run |
| Sat | Taxes folder (30 min), dinner at 7 |
| Sun | Reset: calendar, laundry, meal ideas |

**Sunday reset (10 min):** review calendar, list top three, set out clothes. **Shutdown (5 min):** write tomorrow's first task.
Thursday is intentionally light given your energy.

Notes

Building in buffers and flagging overcommitment is what keeps the plan from collapsing by Wednesday. Paste the same inputs each Sunday and tweak just the lists.
