Email nurture sequence
Plan and write a multi-email nurture sequence for new leads, with a clear purpose, timing and subject lines for each message.
Change note: Initial version
Prompt
Design and write a {{num_emails}}-email nurture sequence.
Business and offer: {{business}}
Who signs up and how (lead magnet, trial, webinar, etc.): {{signup}}
Goal of the sequence: {{goal}}
Reader's main doubts or obstacles: {{obstacles}}
Assets I can reference (guides, case studies, features, demo): {{assets}}
Sender name and voice: {{sender}}
Step 1: Plan. Give a table with: email number, send timing, purpose, key message, and the single action we want. Make sure each email has a different job (for example welcome and quick win, education, objection handling, proof, offer). Do not repeat the same pitch.
Step 2: Write each email with: two subject line options (under 50 characters), a preview text line (under 90 characters), the body, and a one-line CTA. Keep bodies under {{max_words}} words, short paragraphs, conversational.
Rules
- Honest, useful copy. No fake urgency, fake scarcity, or implied personal relationship that does not exist.
- Do not invent testimonials, statistics or features. Use [placeholder] where I need to add them.
- Include an unsubscribe-friendly tone (never guilt the reader) and a note on where the footer and unsubscribe link go.
- Finish with 3 metrics to watch and one change to test first.Variables

|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Immediately | Welcome and quick win | Here is your template, plus one change that shortens kickoffs | Open the template |
| 2 | Day 2 | Education | Why spreadsheets hide workload clashes | Read the short guide |
| 3 | Day 5 | Objection: switching cost | Import your spreadsheet in minutes | Watch the 3-minute tour |

## Email 1
Subjects: "Your kickoff agenda is ready" / "Here is your template (and one tip)"
Preview: Plus the one change that keeps kickoffs on time.
Hi {first name},
Thanks for grabbing the kickoff agenda. [link]
One tip: put "risks and unknowns" before the timeline. Teams talk more candidly before anyone has committed to dates.
Got a kickoff coming up? Reply with the project type. I read every answer.

## Email 2
Subjects: "Where spreadsheets hide clashes" / "Is your plan really up to date?"
Preview: A two-minute read on workload clashes.
Hi {first name},
A spreadsheet shows what you typed, not what collides. Two projects can need the same designer in the same week and nothing flags it until someone is already behind.
We wrote a short guide on spotting these clashes, whatever tool you use. [link]
Maya
CTA: Read the short guide
## Email 3
Subjects: "Switching without starting over" / "Your spreadsheet, imported"
Preview: Bring your existing plan with you.
Hi {first name},
Switching tools sounds like a week of copying cells. Plotline has a spreadsheet import tool, so your current plan comes with you. The 3-minute tour shows how it works. [link]
Maya
CTA: Watch the 3-minute tour
## Email 4
Subjects: "How a 12-person studio caught overbooking" / "Is a small team too small?"
Preview: A studio your size, and what changed.
Hi {first name},
Wondering if this fits a small team? This 12-person studio started on Plotline and caught overbooking before it hit deadlines. [link]
Their results: [add result from the case study]
Maya
CTA: Read the case study
## Email 5
Subjects: "Try it on one real project" / "Your 14-day trial is waiting"
Preview: No big rollout needed.
Hi {first name},
You do not need to move everything. Pick one live project, import its spreadsheet and see if it helps over 14 days. Plotline is $19 per user per month if you stay on. If not, no hard feelings.

CTA: Start your free trial
Footer on every email: [company name and postal address] and an unsubscribe link, placed below the signature.
## Metrics to watch
Open rate on email 1, click-through on emails 3 and 4, trial starts per sequence. Test first: subject lines on email 1.Notes
Giving every email a distinct job prevents the common failure of five near-identical pitches. Ask for a B version of one email once you have open-rate data.
