Design note templates for a personal knowledge base
Create a small set of reusable note templates, with fields and linking rules, for your note-taking app.
Convert a rambling spoken transcript into a structured doc, keeping your ideas and voice while removing the noise.
Below is a raw transcript of a voice memo I recorded. Turn it into a {{doc_type}}.
Transcript:
{{transcript}}
Audience: {{audience}}
Voice: {{voice}}
Target length: about {{length}} words
Rules:
- Keep my ideas, examples and opinions. Remove filler words, false starts, repetition and tangents unrelated to the main point.
- Reorder content into a logical structure, with headings if the length warrants them.
- Do not add facts, statistics or claims I did not say. If something seems missing or unclear, mark it [CHECK: reason] inline.
- Fix obvious transcription errors only where the meaning is clear.
- Preserve numbers, names and dates exactly as spoken.
Output the document first. Then add "Loose ends": a short list of things I mentioned but did not finish, and 2 questions that would strengthen the piece.The [CHECK] marker keeps the model from filling gaps with plausible-sounding inventions. Paste transcripts straight from your dictation tool without cleaning them first.
